In this video Chloe Bailey offers a great example of how to transform your thinking to live a happier healthier life. Chloe eloquently states how she chose to shift her perspective-- look at things from a different point of view-- so that she would not get stuck in a negative thought pattern and stay sad.
The first thing she did was acknowledge her feelings. "Of course it's going to make me feel sad", she states.
Emotions are natural and a part of the human experience. It's okay to feel sad. It's okay to feel upset, angry, jealous, or any range of negative emotion. Feel your feelings. Acknowledge your feelings, but don't stay stuck there.
When faced with the option to think negatively about things, she chose to look at things from a different perspective. She details how people try to get her to look at things from a negative perspective. The host even gears the question from a negative perspective but Chloe explains exactly how she shifts her perspective.
Chloe counted her blessings so that outside negative influences couldn't get inside her self-esteem. She transformed her thinking to maintain an attitude of gratitude so that she can continue to live a positive, successful, happy life.
